October 3-Ports and Praises, It’s all a part of Gods plan!

Yesterday was my last day for radiation, still have swelling but no pain in the knee.  Swelling in left leg and pain in upper legs, so one day next week I will have x-rays to see if it’s cancer or old fashioned arthritis.   Chemo went fine but problems with my veins led us to go today for a port.  All parents and hubby were there and daddy went back with me just in case the doctor needed to be punched in the face for hurting me!  Just kidding, he wouldn’t punch anyone but I bet he would have had some not so pretty words for the doctor.   As it turns out all went well and I spent the rest of the day running errands and getting stuff done.  Next week is chemo free so what ever will I do with myself?   I have been given so many opportunities to share Jesus and how he has blessed my life, the wonderful people at radiation heard my testimony and one lady has us praying for her little boy Hudson who has type 1 diabetes, he is 7.   I have said it before and I will say it again with even more convection, I am thankful for my cancer.  I am beyond blessed to have so many warm and wonderful people in my life and to be able to share my testimony in spite of a world that is quickly pushing our God out.  But as long as God sees fit for me to live I will shout to the world how awesome he is.  Woe to anyone that tries to stop me!!!  Did I just say woe?

Now here’s something I bet you didn’t know, and if you did why didn’t you tell me?  After unpacking my new hair I actually took the time to read the enclosed information paper.  It said:  Caution! Stand back when opening hot oven as your wig may singe or catch fire.  Can you believe that?  Not that there’s any danger of me using the oven or for that matter the stove (Marty does all the cooking unless it involves the bullet or microwave) so really I have nothing to worry about,  But still, what if I got all domestic and decided to bake something and then my hair caught on fire?  I had this vision of me yanking off my hair and stomping on it furiously until it was reduced to a pile of hair ash.  I laughed at the thought til my face hurt.  Anyway……planning on a walk tonight and after my arm stops aching from port insert I can start working out again, I’m so excited!!  Well that’s all for now so until next week…luv all ya’ll!!
