May-19-Oh no, not more radiation!

So let’s talk about this past week starting with Sunday after church.   Marty and I left church and went to Dollar Tree and then over to the car wash,  we were sitting outside on the bench when all of a sudden I had a knife piercing pain in my left buttocks.  I thought that it was a severe muscle spasm so I tried to stand up to work it out and could not use my left leg, needless to say I was terrified. I was finally able to sit back down when I realized that there was at least 4 inches difference in the length of my legs so I knew my left hip had come out of the socket.   I called a good friend Sharon to come get us and take me to the E.R but she was too far away so she called her daughter Savannah and son in law Joe, they came right away.  Savannah drove Marty and I to E.R, Joe followed and they stayed and took care of me until I went back for X Rays.  Of course I called Mama and daddy, Sheila was with them who came right away.  4 hours later and more pain than I can describe, and I’m never at a loss for words! they knocked me out, put my hip back where it belonged and when I woke a few minutes later I was a very happy girl.  I have to wear a knee stabilizer until I see the surgeon on the 27th of this month.  Next I started having constant and more severe pain in my right knee so I had an X Ray Thursday, Friday it was confirmed the cause was cancer.  The good news is that it’s not on the knee but rather the entire tibia and should only take one radiation treatment, yeah!!  Lila and I were able to spend the past several days in a car and running errands without one cross word and I can honestly tell you that it was because of answered prayers because we usually end up not in a good situation but I don’t want to leave this world with her thinking that I hate her because I don’t but we have never got along for reasons that go back to my childhood and continue to this day.

So that was my week as God continues to draw me closer to him daily, so I’ll keep pressing forward and listen closely for God to speak to me and follow his plan for me.  His plan is perfect.

Joshua 1:9

Have I not commanded thee?  Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
