August 23-Please Use Me God, again and again.

So this past week was busy but a good week none the less, my big girl Lady had her surgery and the doc went way beyond the call of duty and removed ALL of her skin tags in addition to the racket ball size tumor she had on her ankle.  She now looks like she had a run in with a weed whacker! Lot’s of shaved areas and stitches but she is perfectly happy and healthy.   I fell back to sleep this morning and missed church but I guess that’s better than falling asleep in church.  I picked up my sister today and she is going to spend a few days with me and then I will stay the night at the hospital with her after her surgery.   We stopped for lunch, came home and I did some research for her on uterine cancer and bowel scarring.  She had lots of questions for me and because God allowed my own journey with cancer I can better help her to understand what to expect and alleviate her fears to the best of my ability.  The rest is in Gods hands(well actually it’s all in his hands but I do what I can!)  I have always believed that God has a plan for each of us and I feel honored to be used in any way but especially grateful and honored to be here for my sister as she faces the medical and emotional road ahead.   If God would allow it I would take her cancer and her pain as my own but God has something special planned for her so I will wait and be whatever she needs for me to be.

Ecclesiastes 1:9

The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

So, there is nothing that we can face that God has not prepared us for.
