March 13- The ties that bind! Or is that bond???

This week has been busy and full of blessings. Monday my dear friend and client Karen’s husband had by pass surgery which by the way they would have never known that there was a problem with his heart had it not been for all the tests being run because he had cancer. Like me, he and his wife have praised God all along the way. I also had the pleasure of Angie and Mikes company while she got a quick trim. Tuesday was bible study and my friend Brenda also needed a haircut as well as Becca wanting a cut and eyebrow trim. Wednesday, tattoo day!!! My ink artist Jesse is amazing and creative, then in the evening I finally made it back to church. Now that the weather is warming up I look forward to going again at night. Thursday..labs, doctor, chemo. Everything is going well and we increased dosage again. So, I showed up all alone, I know right?? you should have seen the reaction to everyone in the office! they all wanted to know where my entourage was. I think it’s the first time that I’ve ever gone alone. Now I had a second of panic then realized I DID have big girl panties so I canceled my ride so that I could be free to do whatever I wanted after treatment was finished. In truth, I like my own company and don’t mind being alone. Here’s another truth, I like my parents to be there when I see the doctor. I guess I’m stuck somewhere between a woman and a child when it comes to these matters. Friday, the day I looked forward to all week. Daddy went to Jesse and had an old hand done tattoo redone and added to, he also had Jesse do a USMC tattoo while he was there. I took before and after pics, now I’m certain that this time together meant way more to me than it did to daddy but that doesn’t diminish what it meant to me for us to share in this unique (to us) experience. More and more it becomes important to me to make memories, stories that can be passed on, we do things everyday not realizing that what we leave behind tells a story. I want time with my dad to be more than doctors visits, implants and surgeries. Sooooo, I’m ready for more ink, how ’bout you pops? Mama J’s sister Mary is in the hospital with a stomach virus,so please be praying for her as well as Billy my friend Karen’s husband. God is always awesome and never deaf to our request. When you go out tomorrow (well every day) plan to be a blessing to someone in some way, it won’t hurt you and it will bless God.

Psalm 4:1
Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.
