July 7-Finally some good news!

Got results back from x-ray and the pain is not coming from cancer  which is an awesome blessing, but the doctor isn’t sure what IS causing the pain.  Time to play doctor again…so I go to the internet and put in all the symptoms and come up with osteoarthritis of the knee.  Hmmmm…sounds right to me and it makes sense too because I have sustained 2 big injuries to that knee over the years, next step is to prescribe myself the right medicine but for this I will ask my local pharmacist for guidance(playing doctor will only carry me so far).   I’m waiting to hear back from the doc about a new pain med, it might be time for me to bite the bullet and let him give me the I.V chemo in low dose, the truth is I probably wouldn’t do it at all but I talked with my dad today and it sounded so important to him for me to at least try.  He’s right of course but don’t tell him I said so!!

Isaiah 26:3  “Thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

When I read this scripture I think of it this way: If your thoughts are on the lord then they can not be on negative things…peace is the result.

  1. Thank you God there is no cancer in the knee. We pray that you would give wisdom and guidance in something for the pain. Also give Robyn peace in a decision on whether to have IV chemo. Peace for her and her family. Please Father continue to keep her family strong in the Lord and sleep and comfort deep in their hearts. Thank you father for you Saving Grace. Help Robyn to sleep. In Jesus name I pray Amen.
