July 14- God’s Perfect Timing

Have you ever stopped to notice how perfect God’s timing is?  Last night was really rough, pain worse than I can remember, but thanks to 4 ibuprophen and 3 IR Morphine it was under control in about 45 minutes.  I tell you this because in that 45 minutes I had a conversation with Marty that I probably wouldn’t have had, or at the very least I asked him a question that I otherwise wouldn’t have.  What is the question you ask?  I asked him if he ever got scared about (well, you know) to my surprise, this man who fell apart and cried uncontrollably a few months ago said NO.  Can you imagine that!  Now ask me why that is so cool, go ahead ask, you know you want to!  Oh o.k I’ll tell you.  I asked him why he wasn’t scared anymore and he said “because God wants you.”  This is cool because not so long ago he couldn’t accept that it was God’s will and now he does.   The way I see it God allowed that much pain last night so that Marty and I could have that conversation, otherwise I would have been watching t.v and he would have fallen asleep, but he was up rubbing my legs to help with the pain.

Perfect timing!!!  but whatever is happening to me or to you we must always be looking for the blessing in the storm because it IS there.  Now I admit it was very stormy last night but God provided a light and cleared the clouds .

Proverb 4:6 “Lest thou shouldest  ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them.”

  1. yes, God is always on time.. Romans 8:28
God uses the difficult times for our good. Not that God causes the difficult times. We live in a world of sin and sickness.
Praise the Lord that you could speak with your husband last night and he is accepting the effects. I pray for you both every day.

  2. Hey Robyn, don’t know if you remember me from way back but my mom,Bonnie Hewett, told me about what you were going through and about your blog.. I just wanted to tell you first that I’m praying for you and second that I’ve been so blessed by the grace in which you’re dealing with all this. Your faith is amazing and has brought me to tears while reading your entries.. I wish there was something I could say to lift you up but I know you already have the assurance that Jesus is with you every step of the way. All my family is praying for you, love to you and your family.. Lyndee Marteney

    • I do remember you and it is so good to hear from you. Thank you for your prayers and for following my blog, I have to give the credit to the Lord for that, it isn’t something I would have thought to do without my pastors suggestion and a lot of prayer before beginning. Please keep in touch and tell your mom hello for me.
God bless you and your family,
      RObyn
