July 12- Curcumin, the natural pain reliever?

So today I decided to go to Loveys Market and seek out something more to help relieve my pain.  Curcumin was highly recommended and since I had already done a lot of research on it, I decided to give it a try.  When I got home I took 2 (daily dose is 3) and within an hour I could feel a difference.  Here’s the question: Was it all in my mind (we all know how questionable that can be) or… well about 5 hours later I took the 3rd one because the pain was returning.  Now I will say this, my range of motion in my right hip area was much improved.  Tomorrow I will take all 3 at the same time, this is also safe, and see if the relief lasts longer.   It may also be that it will take a couple of days to see a steady effect, my friend has been using it for some time and recommends it also.

Because I was feeling so cocky about my new discovery I decided to go for a walk (I took my son in case I needed a piggy back ride on the return trip!) it was no smooth sailing but because I can be somewhat stubborn, stop laughing! I kept pushing toward my destination and back again.  No piggy back ride required though I did think about it for a quick minute!  Safely home, ice pack in it’s proper place freezing my hip, here I sit relaying my experiences of the day to you.  Now you may be asking yourself “What does this have to do with cancer and god?”  well duh….  cancer is the reason for the pain and god is the reason I choose to believe that I can go for walks and pretty much do anything or at least try anything once, knowing that god will get me there and back.

Philippians 4 :12-13  ” I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.  I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth  me.”
